Heres a quick time-lapse of a recent food shoot. The product was for age care so as you will see it made for some unique looking food. Food shoots like product are super fun and technical. Sure! you need really beautiful light and a decent camera (and operator) ūüėČ but just as¬†important is a food stylist. Thanks to Lee Blaylock.

Shot on iphone 6.

Music:  The Polish Ambassdor

As well as the large number of business portraits I do – I also love doing actors and model head shots. Most of the time models are a lot more comfortable in front of the camera – so a little less work for me ūüėČ though I still need to give good direction. Like all portraits its great getting to know each person. Finding out their goals and interests. This builds rapport and allows their personalities to come out in the photos.

Here is Lani, a student and wanting to do more acting. She’s also an incredible singer!

On this shoot we meet at my studio in Richmond. We started by looking at the outfits she had brought then went for a walk around the neighbourhood to shoot. Richmond has a huge amount great locations to shoot outdoor portraits.

Meet Matt Jeffers a Richmond based Myotherapist at Musculoskeletal Co.  He was recommended to me by a friend because I was constantly complaining about my sore back and neck.  After only 1 session I felt huge benefits. Matt did a thorough analysis on me called a Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA). This finds out all the weak/pained areas of your body Рthen Matt designs a plan to fix you up so you are %100 pain free.
